Position Description:

The Associate Developer Manager will oversee a small team of developers, dedicated to the implementation of new clients.  This includes intake of client files, database creation and maintenance, as well as ongoing coordination with Customer Engagement and Product Management groups to ensure customers are set up appropriately and timely.  The Associate Development Manager will also assist in the transition to Internal Operations teams.


This is a remote role.


Ongoing Operations

  • Work collaboratively with the operations, development and information systems team to ensure the monthly operating cycle is delivered efficiently and effectively (timely and accurate)
  • Work closely with the operations and technology teams ensuring hand-offs and dependencies are understood and maintained
  • Define and monitor a comprehensive (data intake to dashboard) quality assurance program and related continuous improvement program



  • Defining, leading, and auditing progress with development process and quality initiatives, as appropriate to project and product need
  • Ownership of end-to-end process improvement efforts as appropriate to project and product need
  • Regular use/reporting of metrics for resource allocation, software defects, productivity, and efficiency
  • Participation in and implementation of established global software quality improvement initiatives and processes, adherence to standards, and timely, measurable results


Implementation Management

  • Work closely with the Product Management and Client Engagement Teams to ensure the successful set-up of new clients
  • Coordinate internal teams using the Pulse8 Implementation Work Plan so that goals, roles and processes are understood and that implementations run smoothly internally and for customers
  • Ensure appropriate testing of new customer data files


Technology Platforms

  • Define, develop and monitor key metric reports to ensure technology is working optimally for customers
  • Develop and deliver against a continuous improvement program for all technology platforms in use – dashboards, cubes, warehouse, SQL, SSIS, Sisense, etc.


Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study



  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare industry
  • Ability to interface with both external and internal personnel at all levels
  • Experience leading development and/or operations teams in a high growth healthcare technology company
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft technology stack including SQL, SSIS, SQL Jobs, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with Tableau, Sisense or similar business intelligence tools
  • Ability to work within a team environment


Travel Requirements:

  • All Pulse 8 employees attend two company summits per year in various locations.


Working Arrangements:

  • Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements
  • This is a remote/virtual position
