This leader will support the execution of the Talent Optimization strategy with solutions and programs that enhance capabilities, engages and retains, resulting in achievement of business goals.


Manages specified members of the Talent Optimization team, scope could widen over time.  

  • Oversees the administration of our Learning Management System and implements, manages and modifies software utilization based on changing business requirements
  • Conducts needs analyses to identify knowledge and skill gaps and prioritizes development as necessary
  • Drives improvements in L&D programs and processes, applying success metrics for analysis of program effectiveness
  • Deliver organizational development expertise to a variety of projects including strategy development, organization design, change and culture transformation
  • Actively evaluates corporate training activities and applies effective learning methodologies to ensure program outcomes
  • Serves as a trainer and facilitator, applying knowledge and expertise to programs and training
  • Identify and set appropriate metrics to measure learning effectiveness, apply and measure results
  • Evaluate data to effectively measure ROI and identify insights for continuous improvement in relation to business goals 
  • Manages L&D data and analytics, effectively translating data into action
  • Educates employees about development opportunities and resources
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver training courses and online modules
  • Assists in the creation of training materials like presentation slide decks, participant manuals, and reinforcement tools
  • Partner closely with business leaders and HR Business Partners to assess needs, develop recommendations, and manage projects to improve the performance of leaders, teams, and organizations
  • Ability to effectively lead, direct, coach and mentor others (including peers) on how to design and deliver effective learning solutions that maximize employee engagement, development, and business outcomes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and navigate organizational dynamics
  • Effectively manage interactions with stakeholders including setting expectations, holding meetings, balancing priorities and on-going project updates
  • Ability to translate strategic goals into appropriate development programs while using instructional design expertise, including data analysis, adult learning, curriculum development and blended learning strategies




  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Education, or Organization Development, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in corporate learning and development, or in a similar field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of facilitation experience
  • People management experience is desired
  • Strong technical skills-Excel, PowerPoint, LMS administration, etc.
  • Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and influence skills with clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrates strong business acumen and a track record of success in partnering with business leaders
  • Ability to focus on critical issues, balance competing priorities and balance multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Responds quickly to feedback through iterative design
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to accomplish assignments with minimal supervision
  • Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead projects from inception through implementation while bringing stakeholders along

Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of/certification in DISC, EQ and other assessment tools.
  • Experience utilizing diverse learning management tools and training applications
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset, interested in process improvement
  • Expert proficiency using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and the ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Comfort in public speaking to small- and medium-sized groups (in-person & virtually)
  • Team player with the ability to build productive working relationships and collaborate cross-functionally
