The primary purpose of this role is to provide first line of support assistance to employees experiencing problems with IS supported software and hardware. This is a full time role at Allscripts supporting our Managed Service Account onsite at Spring Hill Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. 


  • Responds to requests for assistance from employees who are experiencing problems with IS supported software or hardware.
  • Documents results of problem resolution session using the Internal Call system.
  • Performs user administration on servers or server applications.
  • Assists other IS staff in problem resolution.
  • Participates in deployment projects.
  • Provides solutions to proactively reduce help desk calls and streamline problem resolution.


Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Business preferred; OR
  • Other relevant combination of training and experience.


  • 2 years Help Desk related services

Travel Requirements:

  • Dependent upon the needs of the assignments
