In this role, you will be part of the marketing team at Veradigm, a business unit of Allscripts. The primary purpose of this role is to direct the team in defining, developing, and delivering marketing programs and associated marketing activities including product messaging and positioning, driving market awareness, and sales opportunities.


  • Develop, maintain and execute overall marketing plan for Business Unit or market segment; includes interlocking functionality between product, field and segment marketing.
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives to drive awareness, improve reputation and increase pipeline and client satisfaction
  • Develop thorough knowledge of the market and is responsible for supporting the development of Business Unit marketing plan including:
  • Overall market segmentation model and priorities within itDefines the market positioning and Allscripts unique product and services value proposition within the segment
  • Prioritizes marketing programs, routes to market, and channel enablement requirements to meet revenue, profit and sales bookings targets
  • Provides competitive positioning and creates selling opportunities to close business
  • Develops and aligns content and tools used in sales process and lead generation activities
  • Drives client engagement and advocacy to grow the business Act as the ‘trusted marketing partner’ for solutions and service executives and sales leaders 
  • Act as an evangelist for product and services capabilities within the market segment, telling the story of how Allscripts products and services can help our clients
  • Define, develop and deliver all downstream marketing activities including campaigns, lead generation, and events.
  • Operationalize key campaigns and promotional tools for maximum effectiveness Work closely with corporate PR team to enhance brand reputation and awareness Support product, client communications and brand marketing activities


Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field



  • 8+ years’ experience in Marketing, experience preferably within the Healthcare IT environment with at least 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare Payers market and significant experience marketing directly to healthcare Payers
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel as required


Working Arrangements:

  • A person working at this level would maintain regular working hours appropriate for the location and assignment.
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
