In this role, you will be part of the marketing team at Veradigm, a business unit of Allscripts. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute segment strategies as well as working with the existing/pipeline brand teams to develop the brand strategy specific to the various segments. With the support of the extended team, this position helps facilitate the tactical implementation of these strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing support of segment-specific customer lifecycle strategy and programs including customer acquisition, customer retention, cross-sell/up-sell, and customer penetration
  • Utilizing a thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices within the healthcare industry including a demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans, conducts and interprets market research and understands the regulatory and compliance environment
  • Manages the collection of in-depth field research to identify the needs of specific customer segments to increase Allscripts’ value proposition, brand awareness, and understanding of the market
  • Defines, creates, and implements metrics for measuring growth, market share, and customer penetration. 
  • Act as an integral part of the brand planning process, taking accountability for the development and execution of segment strategies and tactics
  • Develops plans and executes key programs aligned with brand and segment strategies to improve product reimbursement, drive sales and profitable relationships with key accounts and government market segment
  • Develops and implements brand recognition within the segment
  • Responsible for ensuring that all marketing pieces and sales force collateral, as well as product offering and merchandising, are designed to effectively target the segment through close interaction with Product and Marketing Management Teams
  • Leads development of segment programs, product pull through and product awareness
  • Plans & manages financial resources to impact business in positive way, consistently monitoring ROI of projects and segmentation strategies
  • Provides leadership, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with peers and all cross-functional team members and to promote brand and corporate objectives
  • Customer-centric and action-oriented approach to the business
  • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies
  • Induct new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance
  • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance
  • Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent
  • Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent
  • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner
  • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent
  • Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan
  • Create team spirit

Qualifications

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics/Marketing related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • MBA preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence multiple stakeholders and lead cross functional teams across business

 

Experience:

  • 10+ years experience in Marketing, experience preferably within the Healthcare IT environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office application is required

 

Travel requirements:

  • Travel, based on the needs of the business

 

Working arrangements:

  • A person working at this level would maintain regular working hours appropriate for the location and assignment
