    The primary purpose of this role is to help ensure product quality through the planning and execution of ETL and backend data tests. 

     

    This person will have direct involvement in manual and automated test efforts as well as developing and managing compliance standards for process and product quality. Depending on the need and skill level, there may be more technical and/or planning and leadership dimensions to this role.

    Responsibilities

    • Represent the Quality team within an agile scrum team responsible for development and maintenance of a portion of the software platform
    • Aid in developing acceptance criteria for user stories in order to assure testability
    • Write test scripts and execute them during the sprint to verify acceptance criteria is met
    • Work directly with developers and business analysts to resolve issues found during testing
    • Maintain a set of regression test cases and perform regression testing per release schedules
    • Write and execute automated tests as needed
    • Create defects during testing and track them through re-testing to closure

    Qualifications

    Academic and Professional:

    • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience required
    • Relevant professional memberships or certifications a plus

     

    Experience:

    • Good working knowledge of ETL concepts and data validation techniques
    • AI/Machine Learning - Ability to validate algorithms and work through complex calculations   
    • A positive self-starter, ability to pick up concepts and functionality quickly, willingness to learn
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality and troubleshooting
    • Effective written and verbal communication
    • Attention to detail and persistence in finding issues
    • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
    • Solid understanding of SQL, Postgres
    • Understanding and hands-on experience with test automation fundamentals, BDD/Cucumber a plus
    • Experience in an Agile software development environment
    • Experience with large amounts of complex data
    • Experience with testing / defect tracking tools, Jira a plus
    • Knowledge of Git/Bitbucket and code management concepts a plus
    • Knowledge of accounting principles (GL, Budgeting, Cost Accounting) is desired
    • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
    • Familiarity with Browser testing concepts

     

    Travel Requirements:

    • None to minimum.

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • This position is located in the Chesterfield, MO office.
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
