    The primary purpose of this role is to provide second line of support assistance to employees experiencing problems with IS supported software and hardware.


    • Identifies and resolves desktop/laptop hardware problems of a more challenging nature
    • Assists in the determination of appropriate escalation path
    • Resolves and works proactively on virus issues and initiatives
    • Assists in new system deployments/loading appropriate software as needed
    • Maintains Web support hints, tips, and FAQs
    • Mobility kit physical upgrades
    • Responsible for incidents escalated from Support Analysts
    • Writes support documentation for customer and/or departmental use
    • Provides suggestions and information on projects that should be undertaken by the department
    • Manages projects as assigned by the Manager
    • Assists in web page development for the Intranet and for our third party WebFirst application


    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    •  BS Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Software, Engineering, Business OR;
    • Relevant combination of training and experience


    •  4+ years in an Employee Help Desk environment

    Travel Requirements:

    • Traveling is required for the position

    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
