    The primary purpose of the Expert SCCM Desktop Engineer role is to manage desktop computing and act as a bridge between the SysAd team and Desktop team with image versioning, applications & ancillary testing, package deployment and applications packaging for our client users, Summit Medical Group in New Providence, NJ.


    • Manages and resolved desktop images, applications and deployment using SCCM/MDT and other management tools.
    • Identifies and resolves desktop/laptop hardware problems.
    • Initial network troubleshooting and determination of appropriate escalation path.
    • Resolve and work proactively on virus issues and initiatives.
    • Assists in new system deployments/loading appropriate software as needed.
    • Maintain Web support hints, tips, and FAQs.
    • Mobility kit physical upgrades.
    • Responsible for incidents escalated from first line of support.
    • Write support documentation for customer and/or departmental use.
    • Provides suggestions and information on projects that should be undertaken by the department.
    • May manage projects as assigned by the Manager.
    • Assists in web page development for the Intranet and for our third party WebFirst application.



    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    •  BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience.



    •  6+ years experience in an desktop support environment preferred.
    • Health IT background preferred.
    • SCCM, MDT, Citrix and Sharepoint preferred.
    • Experience in a highly regulated and enterprise environment preferred.
    • Excellent customer service skills, self directed and action oriented skills required.


    Travel Requirements:

    •  May require local travel
    •  May require other travel for business needs


    Working Arrangements:

    • May be required to work off hour shifts or be assigned to an on-call rotation.

    • 24/7 Support
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
