    The primary purpose of this role is to execute and deliver on a project ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, to budget and to the required quality standards.  The initial project for this role will be to establish, manage, monitor and continuously improve the College Grad Program for the Development organization to ensure program success that meets the business needs and identifies Allscripts as an employer of choice among partner educational institutions and college graduates.

    Responsibilities

    Initially the incumbent will be responsible for:

     

    • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition to ensure successful marketing and recruitment of high potential college grads into the Solutions Development Organization, including attending and securing interviewers for college events
    • Working with leadership to create a forecast for New Grad and Intern/Co-op hires
    • Collaborating with Talent Development on the Graduate Training Program for new college grads
    • Collaborating with leaders on on-boarding of new interns and college grad hires, including feedback loops to the managers
    • Reviewing and providing feedback on the Solutions Development Organization new hire orientation
    • Collaborating with HR Business Partners, Finance and leaders to drive conversion of senior level interns into Full-Time employees at the end of internship or renewal of future internships for non-senior level interns
    • Assisting with the assigning of mentors to all college grad hires and provide evaluation and feedback regardmenteentor/mentee relationship success
    • Implement feedback survey for all new college grad hires and incorporate valuable feedback to continually improve the program
    • In conjuntion with SDO leaders, Talent Development and Compensation, establish curriculum content, assessment criteria, recognition, and rewards throughout the first 18 months designed to assess, develop and retain this key talent
    • Define and report metrics

     

    Long term project responsibilities include:

     

    Maintaining Relationships:

    • Establishes a consistent communication strategy and defines the associated deliverables (e.g. status report, risk report etc.).
    • Checks to ensure accurate understanding of client needs and expectations.
    • Demonstrates project control through effective project documentation, and maintains same for client
    • Make recommendations to reduce project risks
    • Consistently completes project status and reporting
    • Clearly defines responsibilities Allscripts organizations in the project.
    • Escalates any disconnects
    • Seeks input from management as necessary
    • Uses and adapts to Allscripts project disciplines and tools.
    • Communicates effectively to internal management
    • Consistently completes project status Managing Risks and Problems

    Management and Control:

    • Ensures that risk considerations are incorporated into project schedules.
    • Demonstrates project control internally through measurement, assessment, planning, and reporting.

    Leading, Motivating, andd Communicating:

    • Shares and encourages others to share and use the lessons learned from project work.
    • Recognizes and reinforces team successes through the project.

    Project Reporting:

    • Reports to all levels of the Allscripts leaders, selecting content and messages depending on audience.
    • Compliance with Allscripts reporting requirements.

    Qualifications

    Academic and professional qualifications:

    • Degree in Project Management, Talent Development or Human Resources preferred
    • 3.0+ GPA preferred 

    Experience:

    • Strong interpersonal skills with documented history of working effectively within teams
    • Excellent and validated desk top Microsoft skills
    • Excellent and validated written, verbal and presentation skills

    Travel requirements:

    • Ability to travel up to 25% 
      • May be away from home for up to or in excess of four nights per week.

    Working arrangements:

    • Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements
    • Primarily works in standard office environment
