    Position Summary:


    This position is responsible for creating the business, functional and technical requirements necessary for implementing technology solutions that meet customer needs, expected delivery dates, and exceptional quality standards.  You will interact with business leaders to understand their software needs, translate those into application specifications and determine the optimal method for delivering the applications. The environment is fast- paced, working on multiple projects with an emphasis on quality and rapid, timely delivery.  In this role, you will have an opportunity to make a direct impact with our consumers and clinicians.


    • Work under the direction of the Sr Director to provide application solutions for assigned business areas
    • Possess expert level functional knowledge of various application technologies
    • Interact with business users and leaders to understand new business requirements and enhancement requests
    • Serve liaison role between application technology vendors, internal IS groups, and business users
    • Translate business requirements into product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases
    • Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification
    • Serve as leader of team or project overseeing work performed by vendors, consultants or internal staff
    • Perform functional application configuration and configure /run reports at user request
    • Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans for new application functionality, product releases and enhancement and regulatory modifications using business scenarios and use cases
    • Ensure programs meet business specifications
    • Demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking inputs on future direction
    • Identify, review and select technologies and vendors to implement applications
    • Directly interface with business users by responding to escalated support calls from the Service Desk
    • Participate in user focus groups and requirements workshops, vendor training and demonstrations
    • Possess and exercise strong knowledge of successive stages of agile product development, planning tools and processes involved. Able to understand and implement all processes accordingly.
    • Implement User Experience (UX) best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
    • Understand and use journey mapping, story mapping or similar customer experience mapping processes.
    • Leveraging effective, clear, timely communication via all available written and verbal forms and in a global context as appropriate for the initiatives and locations involved.
    • Ensuring commitments and progress to schedules remain clear, reasonable, and proactively monitored.


    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    •  BA or BS degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience and industry experience.




    • 5-10 years’ experience in product management and/or business analyst roles
    • Agile software development experience required
    • Working knowledge and experience with various technology stacks for business applications
    • Healthcare knowledge is desired

    Travel Requirements:

    •  May require local travel
    •  May require other travel for business needs


    Working Arrangements:

    • May require after hours on call support
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
