    The primary purpose of this role is to build and manage solution(s) strategy through an in depth understanding of the healthcare industry that supports continued growth based upon market needs in alignment with overall strategic business goals and objectives. For his/her given area of solution responsibility, the financial responsibility is to manage the investments and targeted revenue. The Solution Manager represents the solution to the business for proposals and results.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as product-agnostic regulatory affairs subject matter expert (SME)
    • Review, interpret, and provide feedback (internal and external) for regulatory publications (e.g. NPRM, Final Rules)
    • Coordinate the multi-stakeholder review of regulatory publications
    • Convene and coordinate cross-product regulatory affairs activities
    • Participate and represent Allscripts in industry activities (e.g. EHRA, HIMSS)
    • Assist with determination of technical solution and workflow to meet regulatory requirements
    • Contribute to corporate and product business strategy
    • Provide direct and indirect regulatory support for clients (e.g. account executives, client communities, user groups, conferences)
    • Provide educational webinars for internal and external audiences
    • Regulatory affairs liaison with Allscripts' legal and marketing
    • Own product-agnostic online client regulatory communities

    Qualifications

    Academic and professional qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Health Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related disciplines is mandatory
    • Advanced degree preferred (e.g. JD, MPH, MHA, MBA)

    Experience Requirements:

    • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment, including senior level leaders
    • 8 years' experience in the healthcare policy, healthcare administration, and/or health information technology or equivalent education
    • Ability to think creatively and to contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions
    • Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members
    • Ability to understand and articulate business implications of technical issues
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Strong analytical ability; ability to define complex problems and creatively frame solutions
    • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives or projects
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
    • Strong market and customer centric orientation
    • Strong collaboration with market facing functions in the organization

    Travel requirements:

    • Travel as needed to meet accountabilities for this role (estimated to be 10-25%)

    Working arrangements:

    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
