    The primary purpose of this role is to provide the highest level of performance and satisfaction for our Allscripts customers and Employees through delivery of effective and professional technical training and support.


    • Acquire comprehensive product knowledge for Allscripts applications to train the client and employee base
    • Provide training consulting services guiding new clients to create a sustainable end user training program
    • Deliver application (workflow and configuration) training to clients or employees in either a classroom, on line (in a Virtual Classroom environment), via telephone, or at client’s site
    • Deliver train-the-trainer sessions
    • Deliver all core and advanced application training sessions, as specified in the training session curriculum, for Allscripts applications to clients and/or employees independently
    • Manage expectations, provide escalation pathways, and document resolution of any issues that may arise during a class session
    • Work with instructional designers, implementation team members, other training specialists, and other departments to identify training needs, participate in course development, and present topics as needed
    • Present seminars or workshops for Allscripts applications
    • Present at User Group Meetings or the National Conventions on various applications
    • Travel to remote offices or client sites to deliver training, including international clients worldwide
    • Perform Allscripts Healthcare Systems time reporting and billing processes
    • Meet and/or exceed acceptable productivity standards
    • Demonstrate and support Allscripts CLEAR values
    • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned


    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Successful completion of a Bachelors Degree or relevant Healthcare Industry experience
    • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
    • Fluency in the local language where appropriate


    • Minimum of 5 years of training experience; preference for healthcare setting
    • Basic understanding of US healthcare market and Allscripts customer base
    • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills for audience appropriate delivery
    • Strong time management skills to work competing priorities and high volume requests
    • Strong consulting skills: gaining trust, understanding client training needs, making strong recommendations, and overcoming objections
    • Track record of providing consistently excellent customer service
    • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
    • Able to rapidly learn new software to support learning development and delivery
    • Able to work effectively under the stressful conditions in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to effectively handle multiple tasks
    • Allscripts product knowledge preferred

    Travel Requirements:

    •  Overnight travel is required; Sunday travel will occur

    Working Arrangements:

    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health and safety hazards
