    Department/Team Overview:

    The goal of the “Client Service Management” team within Revenue Cycle Service line is to ensure client satisfaction with revenue cycle products or services. The primary role is to partner with the clients strategically and operationally on the entire range of business initiatives such as growth and transformation, new technology and joint venture, day to day demand management, best practice and business process improvement etc. Members of this team will act as the liaison between internal/external clients and application/program management teams.

    Position Summary:

    The primary purpose of this role is to operate as a liaison between our clients and various Northwell teams such as application teams, program management teams to effectively and efficiently communicate challenges and opportunities on behalf of the clients. The role will provide more ‘at-table’ SME involvement with client leadership and will make sure that the client strategy and ever change needs aligns with Revenue Cycle Application (IT) strategy.


    • Effective management of the client relationship, expectation and resolution of client issues.
    • Provides strategic guidance for planning projects and operational support for health system initiatives.
    • Possess deep expertize in the Patient Accounting
    • Serves as strategic and operational point of contact for and partner to senior Revenue Cycle leadership for planning, scoping out and budgeting business driven initiatives with an IT component 
    • Provides input into the strategic direction and associated tactics of clients based on a strong understanding of their business and operational objectives 
    • In partnership with IT PMO, helps coordinate business driven project initiatives with the larger IT team and business stakeholders 
    • Drive to decisions, and/or steering of technical solutions and business work flow resolutions
    • Be able to identify common trouble spots, prioritize them and systematically remove them so that they do not impede progress. Overcome challenges and remove barriers.
    • Ensure all deliverables meet client objectives with high quality IT standards and within project timelines and budget.
    • Provide accurate and timely information to client stakeholders and escalate in timely manner when there are issues.
    • Actively facilitate and participate in client and project meetings and make valuable contribution, drive to decisions, where appropriate.
    • Procure resources and follow hiring/on-boarding procedures, when appropriate
    • Must have well-developed inter-personal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders 
    • Exemplary client service skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships 
    • Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
    • Fluent, clear and articulate in verbal communication with the ability to convey interest and enthusiasm when presenting 
    • Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others

    • Knowledge transfer with other team members to improve overall team education level
    • Take complete ownership for the assigned task and timely inform the progress of the project / task to all stakeholders.
    • Adherence to the defined standards.
    • Take initiative and drives to bring to logical conclusion; proactive approach.
    • Provide accurate and timely information and escalates when there are issues.
    • Actively participate in meetings and make valuable contribution.
    • Provide production support for application issues.
    • Identify, coordinate and communicate issues, requirements and status related to application functionality with other team members and software vendors.
    • Ensure the quality of the deliverables as per the defined defects standards and excelling within that.


    • BA or BS Degree preferred
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • High attention to detail and accuracy
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
    • Self-motivated and self-directed



    • 7-10 years industry experience preferred
    • 5-10 years experience in information technology management preferred
    • Experience in working with multiple teams with different functions/level.


    Travel Requirements:


    • May require local travel
    • May require other travel for business needs

    Working Arrangements:


    • May require on call after hours support
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
