     ***Client Account Manager - Life Sciences/ Allscripts Practice Fusion***


    The Client Account Manager will...

    • Serve as the interface between product management, development, marketing and the Life Sciences sales team, working directly with Allscripts Product Delivery Manager (PDMs) on current client business.
    • Relationship manager: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
    • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

    This is a remote role. Candidates may live anywhere in the continental U.S., near a major airport. 



    Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, problem resolution and guidance. Particularly in Key Accounts.

    • Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling.
    • Serves to understand the customer's demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate sales for Allscripts.
    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
    • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
    • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas.
    • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).
    • Prepare reports on account status.
    • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
    • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.


    Academic and professional qualifications: 

    • Bachelors or Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or relevant work experience


    • 7-10 years industry experience
    • Strong business acumen and relationship development skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, prioritize tasks and execute without significant oversight
    • Experience with healthcare products/solutions in a sales, services, consulting, or client management environment
    • Previous project/customer management experience, preferred
    • Minimum five (5) years full-time experience selling to or consulting to life science companies or clinical research organizations (CRO) in the area of clinical study & research
    • Relationships with key CROs and life science decision-makers is required


    Travel requirements:

    • 25-50%

    Working arrangements:

    • May require after hours support
    • Remote office environment. Work hours will fluctuate based on responsibilities, time zones and client needs.
