    The primary purpose of this role is management of applications support functions of a Managed Services account.  Soarian Financials experience highly desired.

    Responsibilities

    • Work under the direction of the IT Director of the project.
    • Manager will perform Project Lead responsibilities, overseeing a team of 3 Systems Analysts.
    • Provide direction for the Design, Build, and Testing deliverables of patient access functions and work flow.
    • Collaborate with Business Leads, Project Management and Vendor.
    • Contribute into strategic decisions on end user functions and provide sustainable technical application solutions.
    • Ensure all technical documentation meets standard operating procedures in support of the project repository and operations expectations.
    • Prioritize work assignments in accordance to project tasks and related timelines.
    • Ensure application functions are defect free.
    • Provide direction for ‘proof of concept’ requests.
    • Possess strong working knowledge of Soarian Financials or Invision patient access functionality.
    • Possess prior team management experience.  Approve timesheets and PTO, write annual employee reviews. Recruit and onboard new employees.
    • Resolve issues or escalate issues to appropriate Team Leads and upper management. 
    • Collaborate with Business Team, Testing Team, Ancillary Group, Integration Group and Cerner Teams, and other cross-functional project teams, to ensure technical integrity across the application landscape.
    • Provide managerial oversight for multiple GoLive and Post Live events.
    • Be part of the 24x7 support of the Soarian Financials and Soarian Scheduling applications and helping troubleshoot problems when they surface.

     

     

     

    • Provide effective and efficient applications support IT services which meet the needs and requirements of client hospital/health system.
    • Assists in account profitability to meet revenue and margin requirements set at the corporate level
    • Effective management of the client relationship and resolution of client issues.
    • Continuous risk identification and appropriate escalation.
    • Effective utilization and management of staff such that milestones/goals are obtained and staff is motivated and competent.
    • Understands application and technical functionality and capabilities to effectively provide solutions for business requirements.
    • Balances demand management for multiple complex simultaneous projects, operational enhancements, break-fix, and maintenance requests.
    • Provides strategic guidance for planning projects and operational support for health system initiatives.
    • Ensure team adherence to all team, account, and client policies and procedures.
    • Support needs across a complex healthcare setting.
    • Manages complex implementations and post implementation optimization across hospital/heath system network.
    • Scopes projects, develop budgets and assess cost of ownership
    • Effectively translate business requirements to technical specicfiations / IT requirements.
    • Develops strategy and resource plans to anticipate demand for implementation services and workforce needs.
    • Research and recommends new technologies to streamline processes supporting improved care and reducing costs
    • Develops and implements policies and practices for client installations

     

    Qualifications

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    •  BA or BS Degree, and/or relevant business experience

     

    Experience:

    •  5-7 years industry experience preferred
    •  2-5 years’ experience in information technology management preferred
    • Soarian Financials experience highly desired.

     

    Travel Requirements:

    •  May require local travel
    •  May require other travel for business needs

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • May require after hours on call support
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
