    The primary purpose of this role is to work with Quality and Outcomes team to achieve goals of Sales Support team as an EXPERT subject matter expert. Focus is to deliver Quality and Outcomes consulting to/for clients, build and disseminate the Outcomes Solution Sets, or build the Business Cases that will lead to improved outcomes for clients and new sales for Allscripts.

    Responsibilities

    Outcomes Solution Set Focus

     

    • Collaborates with clients to build leading practices that address common workflow issues including the Allscripts software solutions, configurations and process redesign that will lead to improved outcomes
    • Provide expert configuration support in producing Outcomes Solution Sets that are available on the Allscripts collaboration site including the App store
    • Collaborate with clients virtually and through meetings in developing the OSS
    • Provide guideline MLM and reports for clients and services that serve as the building blocks for the OSS
    • Provide support to key clients to implement OSS at their sites to improve their Outcomes resulting from the deployment of the OSS
    • Present/disseminate  the OSS at the user groups and Client Connect share groups thereby  optimizing the use of Sunrise
    • Improve the new client outcomes with their initial installs by advocating the use of OSS

    Business Case Focus

     

    • Responsible for developing and utilizing financial models (Business Cases or ROI Studies) to project the financial benefits healthcare organizations may realize with an investment in wide variety of Allscripts solutions in support of the sales organization and their sales processes.
    • Includes working with healthcare organizations to develop customized studies and presenting the results to their executive teams, including the CFO and CEO.  Requires developing an understanding of how Allscripts solutions will impact an organization’s processes
    • Coordinate Q&O, Allscripts and external resources to ensure well organized processes and professional quality deliverables
    • Develop financial models for new solutions and offerings as they become available
    • Coordinate the design and production of Client Profiles highlighting the current clinical/quality and financial state of client organizations based on publically available information.
    • Conduct Outcomes Studies (post-implementation evaluations) with clients to quantify results and produce client Outcomes Stories to support corporate messaging and Q&O deliverables.  Clinical/quality, financial & operational.
    • Provide development with feedback on product enhancements gathered from client interaction
    • Build and maintain professional working relationships with client organizations, prospects and particularly the Sales organization within Allscripts.
    • Conduct high-level current and future state Workflow Assessments (with Demo resources) and deliver recommendations and results to the clients.
    • Prepare and deliver a wide variety of ad hoc presentations and written materials for client executive overviews and site visits, trade shows, sales seminars, etc.
    • Assist in the design of deliverables emphasizing the superior functionality of Allscripts solutions and differentiators within our services offerings, and the associated financial, clinical & operational impacts. 

    Qualifications

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, marketing, healthcare administration or clinical care area.
    • Master’s degree in finance, accounting, marketing, healthcare administration or clinical care area

     

    Experience:

    • Typically requires 8+ years of relevant business experience
    • Broad business background including financial analysis expertise. Must be capable of addressing financial and process questions and challenges posed by client management team members, particularly the C-Suite level including CFOs and CEOs
    • Healthcare industry experience required
    • A clinical background is desirable for the financial business case opportunity but mandatory for the Outcomes Solution Sets or Quality and Outcomes consulting.
    • Must be customer oriented and enjoy interacting with clients and playing a key role in the sales process.
    • Familiarity with EHRs is critical, with a working knowledge of configurations.
    • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent business writing and verbal communications skills. Must be comfortable and credible in making presentations to clients’ management teams and to internal groups.
    • Project management experience preferred.
    • Process analysis experience. Must be able to identify how product functionality impacts business processes and to identify process variables that must be measured to financially quantify those impacts.
    • Expertise with Microsoft Excel (specifically financial modelling) and PowerPoint.

     

    Skills and Qualifications:

     

    • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
    • Outstanding customer service (internal) skills.
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required, Macros and VBA desired.
    • Microsoft PowerPoint skills strongly preferred.
    • Database skills would be a definite plus.

    Travel Requirements:

    •  Up to 75% overnight, out-of-town travel required. 

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • Any Allscripts office or remote
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
