    ***Sunrise/Paragon RFP Team Leader***

     

    The primary purpose of this role is to lead a team of proposal team subject matter experts responsible for responding to the technical aspects of RFPs for Sunrise and Paragon.

    Responsibilities

    • Support Sales projects by managing highly complex RFP and RFI opportunities, including managing Sales, Services, Product, Legal, Finance, and third-party staff to meet client requests.
    • Strong understanding of supporting RFP and Business capture processes.
    • Approve RFP/RFI requirements for potential new sales activities. Recommends overall solution for sales activities and highlights potential gaps and risks.
    • Support Contracting process as needed by validating product feature/functionality for including in client contracts.
    • Act as assigned solution SME
    • Assume responsibility of answering technical and functional questions of RFP/RFI, and acting as liaison with Solutions Development Organization for obtaining custom input.
    • Maintain current knowledge of Products and Solutions from both a technical standpoint and selling standpoint.
    • Ownership of all appropriate deliverables, which includes planning deliverable(s) for a project, producing and updating content, and providing timely and accurate reporting of status to the Project’s Proposal Manager.
    • Responsible for version control of documents using relevant tools (e.g. SharePoint).
    • Maintain product/solution expertise, including roadmap features and functions.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., Adobe, MS Office Word, Excel, Visio, etc.), image capturing tools (e.g. SnagIt, Paint ShopPro, Adobe Photoshop) and graphics tools.
    • Implementing content in line with established plans and documentation standards for assigned product.
    • Interact with Sales, Services, Development, Finance, and Legal teams for content validation and management reviews to ensure meeting client requirements.
    • Proactively understanding changes to client needs and project scope and making relevant changes to the RFP response.
    • Providing peer review support to Allscripts teams for work produced by others; approving work produced by others.
    • Managing other members of the team to improve productivity and adherence to process standards.
    • Maintaining professional relationships within the industry to enhance business development activities and performance.
    • As time permits, participating in customer and industry forums as a guest speaker or discussion leader on topics that leverage the employee’s domain or tools expertise.
    • Contributes to the design and execution of process improvement initiatives surrounding the Sales Cycle.
    • Provides a central point-of-contact for the collection of data throughout the RFP/RFI lifecycle.
    • Works closely with internal and external stakeholders throughout the RFP process.
    • Maintains and creates accurate, professional and up-to-date RFP response information via RFP database.
    • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies
    • Induct new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance.
    • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance.
    • Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent.
    • Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent.
    • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner.
    • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent.
    • Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan.
    • Create team spirit.

    Qualifications

     

     

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent training in business or sales management.

     

    Experience:

    • 5+ years of Healthcare IT experience
    • In-depth knowledge of Allscripts Sunrise technical specifications
    • Team leadership experience, preferred

     

    Travel Requirements:

    •  Minimal domestic travel required

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • Remote or office-based
    • Must accomodate international time changes for meetings/conference calls
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
