    The primary purpose of this role is to define the strategic direction and market requirements of the company’s products, service portfolio and partner ecosystem, as well as developing and executing those strategies in support of the company’s business and marketing goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Understands company’s core competencies and how these interact with market needs to identify and map requirements and release plans as well as develop new alliances and partnerships
    • Develops product plans, including pricing and budget parameters, which meet market requirements by communicating with customers, sales, operations and industry experts
    • Directs and communicates business plans and strategies to ensure all teams are aligned with corporate goals
    • Works closely with the sales/marketing/operations/IT/creative teams to build post-release (lifecycle) activities
    • Owns product launch plans and activities while communicating with Marketing and Brand to ensure messaging supports corporate goals
    • Works closely with Marketing Communications and education services to express product message through creation of collateral, print and web content and training programs
    • Acts as a product champion, advocate and spokesperson for the product line by supporting internal departments as they sell, roll-out and support the products
    • Ensures that all key stakeholders are aware of proposed solution and relationships at the outset, understands plans and agreements and have opportunities to provide input
    • Evaluates third-party partners; integrates partners accordingly
    • Develops integrated business strategies and implements go-to-market plans including third-party software or services
    • Establishes formal procedures and policies for partners to ensure we are all supporting our partners and alliances in an effective and efficient manner
    • In conjunction with the Business Development and Legal teams, participates in contract negotiations and legal agreements including Statements of Work, Customer Service Agreements, Non Disclosure Agreements, and Letters of Intent; ensures that all contract requirements are adhered to.
    • Coordinates and conducts quarterly business reviews to assess overall business performance
    • Influences executive leaders regarding strategies and innovative thinking that support the company’s go forward strategy
    • Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met
    • Ensures program compliance when partnering with a supplier for products or services
    • Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions
    • Analyzes competitive landscape
    • Develops and maintains network of contacts throughout the healthcare IT industry that can be assessed to create incremental value to the company
    • Manages strategic relationships, in conjunction with Business Development
    • Ensures that designated products and/or services that are resold or sublicensed by the company to its clients conform to specified requirements
    • Identifies and recruits internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies
    • Develops competencies of the Solutions Management staff to consistently deliver departmental goals
    • Inducts new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance
    • Sets and communicates team/individual objectives and KPIs to inspire individuals to achieve high performance
    • Allocates work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent
    • Implements development plans and coaches individuals to reach their maximum talent
    • Provides regular constructive feedback on performance/development and addresses poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner
    • Recognizes high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent
    • Regularly communicates on company news and team progress against business plan
    • Creates team spirit

    Qualifications

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    •  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, Finance, or business related field
    • MBA strongly preferred

    Experience:

    • Analytics domain experience
    • 8+ years of Sr. Management experience with a minimum of at least 5+ years demonstrated success in revenue generation, product management, and/or partnership development
    • The incumbent should have experience in technology development, partner/alliance identification and formation, market sizing and product pricing
    • Experience partnering with the marketing and sales organizations as well as having demonstrated successful leadership in high growth and established companies
    • Advanced leadership, project management, and prioritization skills within the healthcare IT industry
    • Ability to see the big picture and drive the strategy to execution while managing the production of an internal team
    • Must possess strong planning, execution, presentation, influencing, communication (verbal, written, and interpersonal), and multi-tasking skills
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships across the business and effectively interact with cross-functional business teams
    • Proven ability to execute in a matrixed organization and implementation of product roadmap, requirement documentation and connectivity partnerships
    • Demonstrates behaviors indicative of Allscripts values

    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
