    The primary purpose of this role is to train and coach Agile scrum teams, Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Solutions Managers, and leaders on Scaled Agile Framework.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as a change agent across the organization to help Agile and non-Agile teams make the transition to SAFe.
    • Guide and mentor teams in the consistent practice of Agile concepts, including ceremonies, processes, compliance, and tool usage.
    • Deliver Leading SAFe training across North America and internationally, as needed.
    • Coach and mentor Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and scrum teams.
    • Coach and mentor Solutions Management teams on Lean-Agile Portfolio Management techniques.
    • Conduct regular SAFe team assessments and provide coaching back to teams for continuous improvement.
    • Assist teams with tracking metrics related to productivity, quality, employee engagement, and time to market, at various points during their SAFe Agile journey.
    • Educate leaders and assist with setting the SAFe vision for the organization.
    • Collaborate with SAFe Project team on building the roll out plan, reporting out progress of the roll-out, managing roadblocks and risks, etc.
    • Promote metrics-led, continuous improvement of the Agile delivery processes and propose adaptations of the methodology to address new challenges.
    • Assist with refining the Agile delivery process to reduce areas of uncertainty that become impediments for the team.
    • Participate in the external Agile community to stay abreast of challenges, leading practices, and emerging trends.
    • Lead the internal Agile community of practice to reinforce organization’s Agile practices.

    Qualifications

    Academic and professional qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field, ideally Computer Science or Business Administration

    • SAFe Agilist (SA4) and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4) certifications required.

    • Additional SAFe certifications a plus (SSM, SASM, RTE, POPM).

    Experience:

     

    • 3+ years experience as a SAFe practitioner or relevant experience, such as an Agile Scrum Master.
    • 8+ years experience developing software
    • Experience as an Agile and/or SAFe consultant preferred.
    • Expereince leading and facilitating training seminars.  

     

    Travel Requirements:

     

    • Domestic travel – 40% of the time required to Allscripts offices in the United States.

    • International travel – 2 times a year to Allscripts offices outside the United States.

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
    • Substantial time is spent working on a computer, having meetings and on conference calls
