    The primary purpose of this role is to drive the execution of strategic programs for the business, which typically requires coordination of a cross-functional team and resource assignments, to ensure program completion on time to budget and meeting customer needs.


    The main  strategic program for this role will be the continued implementation of the Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 standards. 



    Project Management


    • Highly effective communication style including Informal, formal, written communication, conflict resolution, presenting information in a manner that is clear, fluent and to the point while adapting communication to different audiences and all levels of the company.
    • Demonstrated ability in facilitation skills such as seeking input and involvement form others to ensure all views are gathered, captured, and objections handled to create a tangible outcome agreement. Demonstrated Ability to unite a group into an effective team
    • Demonstrated ability in business awareness including lines of business, political, cultural, style and value differences. Ability to adjust to impact positive results
    • Demonstrated ability in utilizing software development life cycle and agile development.
    • Use of systematic approaches (lean six sigma, ISO 9001 etc.) For evaluating current process and developing and implementing integrated solutions that maximize bottom line results and customer satisfaction.
    • Demonstrated ability in Project management practices including requirements, scope, plan, risk, issues, time management, resource, problem solving, execution, change control, delegation and follow through etc.
    • Ability to put changes quickly into practice and treat change as a learning opportunity
    • Ability to gain agreement to plans and ideas by promoting and focusing on common goals
    • Ability to draw conclusions by making systematic comparisons of alternate solutions to problems
    • Understand financial practices such as profit, loss, revenue, cash flow, etc.
    • Gains sign-off  and acceptance per the client contractual agreement

     Ensuring Alignment with Allscripts Strategy

    • Assesses opportunities for strategic fit, chance of winning, repeatability, technical feasibility, client capacity, and probability of project success
    • Undertakes a strategic project only when Allscripts has plans in place that are likely to lead to Allscripts realizing value.  Escalates as necessary to appropriate management

     Managing Third-Party Relations

    • Assesses third-party strengths, weaknesses, and risks, and develops plans to achieve project objectives and manage risks
    • Considers technology, organizational, and cost alternatives to using third-party contractors


    Ensuring Legal and Ethical Performance

    • Anticipates and communicates the impact of project decisions and actions on contract performance
    • Ensures that all aspects of project work hold to Allscripts’ ethical guidelines
    • Ensures appropriate maintenance of Allscripts intellectual property



    Academic and professional qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent related experience and Project Management Certification (PMP) required



    • Requires 7 or more years of application software implementation experience, along with 3 or more years of industry experience
    • 5+ years’ experience as a project manager
    • Prior experience as part of a management team (lead role with plan, resource and issue/change responsibilities) that successfully managed a full life cycle implementation
    • Experience in supporting business development opportunities through proposal creation, review and presentation
    • 2-4 years QMS, ISO, Quality auditing and/ or Black belt experience

    • ISO 9001:2008 or ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification preferred

    • Demonstrated ability in documenting process, audits and results 

    • Demonstrated experience with Agile and SDLC 

    • Demonstrated consultant management experience to SOW on time and within budget

    • Demonstrated ability to successfully negotiate, collaborate and present across business units and all management levels

    Additional Academic and Professional Qualifications:


    • Demonstrable solid leadership, organizational and communication skills with the ability to adjust communications depending on leadership level.
    • SharePoint experience a plus


    Travel requirements:

    • Frequency will vary depending audit schedule, can be as much as 40-50% during heavy auditing timeframes.  International travel ability also required.
