    The purpose of this sales role is to uncover leads, generate interest, identify opportunities and close business for the 2bprescise solution within our target prospect territory.

    Your Impact

    • Sales Strategy & Health System Targeting Execution - quickly identify and focus on mature buyers to build awareness and opportunities for 2bPrecise with key decision-makers in your territory to gather consensus and establish value for 2bPrecise across the organization.
    • Opportunity Management - collaborate with Marketing, Customer Operations, Product Team, and Clinical Leadership for appropriate deployment of 2bPrecise resources throughout the sales cycle.
    • Sales Execution – build large pipeline of deals at all stages of closing, and demonstrate effective movement of opportunities through pipeline to close. Meet goals for new customers/revenue.
    • Account Management – see deals through to effective handoff to the operations team after win, to maintaining happy customers and find opportunities to broadening the 2bPrecise presence within the customer.
    • Precision Medicine Expertise - have knowledge and understanding of evolving market dynamics in genomics and precision medicine, keep current on near term trends impacting providers and payers, precision medicine vendor landscape, and clear view on how the market will evolve over the next 2-5 years.
    • Voice of the Customer - provide prospect and client feedback to drive ongoing product innovation; field-level competitive intelligence gathering; trends impacting health systems.


    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or science, or equivalent training in genomics or sales/sales management

    Experience - You'll be successful in this job if you have: 

    • 5+ years of experience in a genomics/precision medicine organization (research, clinical, program/product, technical and/or sales and marketing) or selling health IT solutions to academic medical, medium to large integrated delivery systems, large ambulatory groups, and/or oncology groups.
    • Existing relationships with genomics and precision medicine decision makers
    • Experience communicating clinical and genomics concepts for the purposes of sales and marketing to CMO’s, Medical Directors, C-suite, VP functional owners
    • Experience working a sales process and comfort with each phase from lead generation through entire sales cycle to deal close
    • Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
    • Demonstrated sales success in start-up/new markets
    • Experience maintaining ongoing relationships with large, complex clients
    • Comfort working independently and with remote leadership in fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment that is still being defined
    • Established credibility and trust of the customer through knowledge of the market and customer needs
    • Experience negotiating and structuring sales contracts with sophisticated buyers
    • Willingness to keep up with fast pace of the market through self-learning activities, refining the value of 2bPrecise as the market changes
    • Strong communication skills, presentation skills and group facilitation skills
    • Ability to tailor messages and communications to the intended audience and respond nimbly during prospect meetings across numerous topics
    • A team player approach and will work ardently towards exceeding his/her own quota and deliver outstanding results, but never do so at the expense of a colleague or 2bPrecise


    Travel Requirements:

    • 75% overnight, out-of-town travel required


    Working Arrangements:

    • Due to high travel requirement, candidates must live near/have access to a major airport. Work is performed in a remote office environment.
