    The primary purpose of this role is to direct the team in defining, developing, and delivering marketing programs and associated marketing activities including product messaging and positioning, driving market awareness, and sales opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Utilizing a thorough understanding of marketing principles and practices within the healthcare industry including a demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans, conduct and interpret market research and understanding of the regulatory and compliance environment.
    • Implements metrics for measuring growth, market share, and customer penetration.
    • Oversee the implementation of plans across market/segment to achieve sales, operational, and organizational goals.
    • Act as an integral part of the planning process, taking accountability for the development and execution of strategies and tactics.
    • Plan and execute marketing initiatives to drive awareness, improve customer satisfaction and brand awareness.
    • Responsible for assessment of existing and potential markets, coordination of technical product development and brand recognition.
    • Liaise with regional marketing managers to understand and maintain regional collateral requirements Provide leadership to Marketing team members and delegate assignments to subordinate managers.
    • Customer-centric and action oriented approach to the business.
    • Manage relationship with Sales to develop product specific marketing program needs - working with Regional/Field marketing to execute.
    • Evaluate market trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
    • Develop and sustain strong partner relationships to deepen position in assigned market/segment.

     

    • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies
    • Induct new joiners to quickly maximize performance
    • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance
    • Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent
    • Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent
    • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner
    • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent
    • Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan
    • Create team spirit

    Qualifications

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field

     

    Experience:

    • 8+ years’ experience in Marketing, experience preferably within the Healthcare IT environment with at least 2-3 years of management experience.
    • 5-7 years of progressive growth and experience in marketing for healthcare or B2B technology firm; management experience a plus
    • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment, readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
    • Strong communications skills -- both verbal and written
    • Excellent planning and project management skills required with the ability to look ahead to meet regular deadlines and predict and prevent last-minute fire drills
    • Team player, willing to contribute to projects and work independently
    • Must be resourceful and have initiative to resolve problems
    • Hands-on experience in marketing tools and systems including Marketo and Wordpress

     

    Travel Requirements:

    • Travel as required

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • A person working at this level would maintain regular working hours appropriate for the location and assignment.
    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
