The primary purpose of this role is to review quotes and client signed contracts, execution of contracts, front end processing of returns and cancellations and non-quote related contract amendments. This role will focus primarily on processing concessions but will also assist with Professional contract processing during each quarter close.

Responsibilities

  • Review sales quotes for Allscripts ability to operationalize related to downstream fulfilment, billing, revenue recognition and collections
  • Set up and review of internal client databases (CDH) related to processing of new sales orders to ensure integrity of client data
  • Acts as liaison between Sales, other internal departments and clients to resolve contract related issues to insure compliance and timely contract clearance
  • Manages communications and feedback from Sales related to proposal processing
  • Ensure contracts are dual executed as per Allscripts authority matrix
  • Mail or email dual executed copy of contracts to clients
  • Initiate cancellations and returns processing including Finance approval
  • Execution and distribution of customer addenda and amendments to appropriate internal teams to facilitate contract and billing changes as well as responding to other miscellaneous contract related inquiries from clients and other internal departments
  • Supports revenue recognition and bookings via the contract clearance process
  • Contributes to the design and execution of process improvement within the department

Qualifications

Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in a Contract Processing or Customer Service role
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare/pharmaceutical industries
  • Solid understanding and application of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Office)
  • Proven experience to calmly handle difficult situations and people, as well as be able to communicate with all levels of management and peers
  • Experienced in the area of SOP development and process improvement

  • None

Working Arrangements:

  • Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
  • Substantial time is spent working on a computer and on the phone
