The primary purpose of this role is to collaborate with Allscripts sales teams to produce holistic field training courses and workshops. 


  • Gains BU solution knowledge and establishes relationships.
  • Assesses field training needs and identifies gaps.
  • Works with company SME’s and Go To Market team to confirm sales readiness content.
  • Formulates, plans, designs and delivers training to address gaps.
  • Works in collaboration with senior team members for content delivery via webinars, and manages all functions for the delivery of live and recorded webinars (expert in WebEx).
  • Assists in the maintenance of the FI functional area of the LMS, posts Webinars and eLearning to LMS.
  • Works with Field Intelligence Coordinator to manage operations related to onsite and offsite course logistics.
  • Supports and posts content to FI areas of the Intranet and SharePoint Team Page.
  • Maintains knowledge of healthcare information technology industry and Market Intelligence to modify and prioritize training strategies.
  • Pursues active membership in professional organizations and seeks continual professional development to bring best practices to Allscripts.


Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent training in business or sales
  •  Education, instructional design, facilitation and/or training certification or degree a plus



  • Requires 4-7 years of experience in sales, sales support, or marketing roles
  • Curriculum development expertise / instructional design background - knowledge of adult learning principles 
  • Understanding of sales process and selling skills methodologies a plus
  • Demonstrated track record working in large complex organizations
  • Ability to organize, assess, orchestrate, and prioritize tasks, resources, milestones and deliverables
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proven record of on-time delivery of effective programs and projects
  • Understanding of Healthcare IT industry is strongly preferred 
  • Experience with a variety of software programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Camtasia, Adobe, LMS systems, and ability to learn new programs


Travel Requirements:

  •  Minimal overnight, out-of-town travel required - 15% (for offsite meetings, national sales mtg, various workshops) 

Work Location:

  • Raleigh, NC or Chicago, IL are preferred work locations.  Role can be remote for individual w/ exceptional skill set.
