The primary purpose of this role is to identifiy healthcare market problems, definition of market, evaluation of market, and development of go-to-market strategies for identified market segments.  This includes the evaluation of new and existing solutions for the market segment, through business cases, market workflows, high-level solution requirements, and the maintenance of market roadmaps and prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Creates market definitions and evaluations of existing solution sets within the identified market segment.
  • Evaluates new and existing solutions, and builds business cases for market viability of Allscripts solutions within market segments.
  • Develops go-to-market strategies for introduction of new products and features relevant to market.
  • Cross-functionally drive development and launch of market requirements from concept to delivery
  • Plans and manages execution of market roadmaps, backlogs, and prioritization
  • Provides competitive analysis and works with Marketing on Sales tools and market sheets
  • Participates in solution steering committees to provide market insights and guidance
  • Defines and writes high-level technical and functional market specifications including requirements and detailed use cases for solution features relevant to market segment.
  • Explains designs and constraints to market stakeholders, through development of workflows and user stories.
  • Coordinates business and contractual arrangements with partners specific to market
  • Supports and manages market advisory boards, user groups and SIGs as needed
  • Reviews and ensures that all regulatory requirements specific to market are accurate and delivered within deadlines

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, Marketing, Finance, or business related field
  • Market relevance and experience highly preferred

 

Experience:

  • 5+ years related work experience as a Product or Solution Manager
  • Market relevance and experience in healthcare highly preferred
  • Experience writing business cases, and performing market analysis
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies for solutions or products
  • Experience managing backlogs for solutions across multiple markets
  • Experience with complex software solutions across multiple generations of product, preferably in agent-based solutions. Must be able to define and manage complex process and/or product issues of a broad scope using independent judgment
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and management skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

 

Travel Requirements:

  •  TAbility to travel up to 70% required 

 

Working Arrangements:

    Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
