The primary purpose of this role is management of the training function.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes training plans for the design and development of Instructor-led and Web-Based training courses.  
  • Plans, organizes and manages the staff and activities in support of development, implementation and evaluation of training programs.
  • Oversees and approves project curriculum of training materials, instructor guides, reference guides and job aides.
  • Understands workflow, policy and procedure changes related to software implementation and incorporates into training
  • Manages the development and maintenance of the training database
  • Provide on-site support during activations
  • Partners with business owners to understand needs and assist in collecting, documenting and analyzing business requirements and establish new teaching strategies to meet end-user needs.
  • Compiles and utilizes related material and supportive documents to enhance teaching sessions
  • Conducts literature searches, analyzes and summarizes relevant materials, and maintains a reference library of related materials that could enhance training opportunities
  • Researches outcomes of training and reports findings to demonstrate program effectiveness and satisfaction.
  • Manages training space, technology, materials and supplies
  • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies.
  • Induct new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance.
  • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance.
  • Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent.
  • Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent.
  • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner.
  • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent.
  • Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan.
  • Create team spirit.

Qualifications

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree, and/or relevant business experience

Experience:

  • MD / RN or Clinical experience preferred
  • Software training experience
  • Experience in using LMS
  • 5-7 years industry experience preferred

  • 2-5 years experience in learning and development or other related field

  • 2-5 years management experience preferred

Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to travel occasionally as warranted by project work; frequency will vary depending on project requirements

Working Arrangements:

  • May require after hours training and support
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
